California Lighting Technology Center at UC Davis to Use The Jackson Lamp Company Task Lamps as Part of Office Efficiency Study

November 11, 2015

The California Lighting Technology Center at UC Davis has selected several of the task lamps by The Jackson Lamp Company, as part of an office efficiency study. Since the lamps are compliant with California's Title 24 energy efficiency codes, they were eligible for the study. The center will be trying to determine if the ability to change light levels and color temperature in various office settings improves efficiency and reduces user eye strain. The study should conclude in the spring of 2017 with results to follow.
